Metal Fabrication Estimator
Lopes & Caldas Engenharia delivers steel structures, boilermaking, machining, piping and mechanical and industrial assembly for European clients, including the EPC chain. We are strengthening our estimating team with a senior profile capable of working fully autonomously on technical-commercial proposals aligned with the company's commercial and growth strategy.
- Analyse client commercial enquiries and produce the measurements, costs and price breakdown that support the proposal.
- Analyse commercial enquiries — specifications, descriptive reports and technical drawings: scope, exclusions and risks;
- Perform take-offs from scratch and calculate quantities, costs and price composition;
- Participate in the contractual process through to contract signature.
- Support the Production Department in monitoring and controlling project execution, particularly in terms of deadlines and costs (productivity and P&L), and contribute to defining and implementing corrective actions whenever necessary.
- Proven experience in estimating and technical knowledge of industrial project supply contracts (fabrication and assembly);
- Autonomous execution of measurements from drawings and technical specifications;
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Project and ERP;
- Availability for technical site visits across Europe.
- Experience in industrial assembly;
- Experience in commissioning electromechanical installations;
- Industrial project planning and control management;
- French and knowledge of EN 1090-2 standard.
Remuneration commensurate with demonstrated experience.

Specialized Welder (TIG / MIG-MAG / Submerged Arc / Electrode)
We are looking for qualified Welders with experience in TIG / MIG-MAG / Submerged Arc / Electrode processes for precision welding on piping and special structures.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in metalworking;
- Ability to read drawings and welding symbols;
- High commitment to safety and quality.
Civil / Mechanical / Assembly Locksmith
We recruit Locksmiths for the manufacture, assembly, and alignment of steel structures in the field or workshop.
- Proven experience in civil and mechanical locksmithing and assembly;
- Ability to interpret drawings;
- Availability for occasional international travel;
- Team spirit, autonomy, and dynamism.
Locksmith Assistant
Support in the preparation, cutting, drilling, and assembly of steel structures and industrial equipment in the workshop or on-site.
- Willingness to learn and develop in the industrial locksmith field;
- Ability to work in a team and follow technical instructions;
- Availability for international travel (both domestic and foreign postings);
- Sense of responsibility, punctuality, and initiative.
Assembly / International Welding Foreman
We are looking for an Assembly and Welding Foreman to lead teams on international projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and safety on site.
- Solid experience in the coordination and management of assembly and welding teams on site;
- Responsible for checking material stocks and recording tools on site;
- Direct reporting to the Project Manager, ensuring the integration of all project phases;
- Fluency in languages (English and/or French) and full availability for international travel
Project Manager / Planner
We are looking for a Project Manager / Planner to coordinate medium/large scale industrial and metalworking projects, manage production planning, control deadlines, and manage client and subcontractor relations.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management or similar;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management within the metalworking sector;
- Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera or similar);
- Fluency in English and/or French (preferred).
Technical Draftsman / Designer
We are hiring a Technical Draftsman / Designer to develop 3D modeling, detail structural steel and piping projects, and prepare shop drawing documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Technical background in Drafting/Design or Mechanical Engineering;
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Tekla or AutoCAD);
- Knowledge in detailing steel structures and piping, or civil locksmithing / industrial projects;
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under deadlines.
